The Heart of the City is a project which aims develop the medieval core of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. The area, located at the southern edge of the modern city contains St Nicholas Cathedral, the Castle which gives the city its name, and the Black Gate.

Maddison Graphic were commissioned to design an exhibition, a booklet, a leaflet and a postcard.
